Continuous improvement programs enhance the purity, performance and consistency of all Reading Alloys' products. In addition, the next generation of high performance alloys for the electronic, semiconductor and other emerging markets is under development in its Technical Centers.
The facility's photo micrographic equipment includes metallograph optical microscopes, image analysis software and x-ray absorption analysis. Advanced analytical capabilities include a scanning electron microscope (SEM), x-ray EDS and phase mapping for product quality verification and development.
By perfecting new approaches to the production of high-purity metals and alloys, Reading Alloys has been awarded dozens of patents for master alloys.
