High Purity Ti Powders

In the procurement of raw materials Reading Alloys fully supports the call of the Tantalum-Niobium International Study Center in refusing to purchase materials which could reasonably have been expected to have originated from illegal and illegitimate sources in Central Africa. It is not acceptable to support or encourage civil conflict and human suffering, or the extinction of wildlife.

High purity metal and alloy powders are an essential component in the production of finished parts for some of today's most critical engineering applications.

Reading Alloys has developed an extensive range of pure, commercially pure, and alloyed metal powders to stringent metallurgical and physical specifications in order to meet the ever increasing requirements of end users. We recognize the need for strict quality control procedures throughout the production cycle so that our powders can be used with confidence in the most demanding end processes of our customers. Backed by a team of qualified technical and metallurgical specialists with proven experience, Reading Alloys provides a consultative environment for alloy selection and specification. Below you can view two sample images at close range.

Our powders are produced by mechanical sizing methods following techniques that may include Electron Beam Cold Hearth Refining coupled with a hydride-dehydride process. Powders are generally supplied in -50 to +325 mesh sizes but customized sizes and screen distributions are available upon request.

Reactive powders are packed and shipped under argon to maintain purity. Customized alloy compositions are also available.

We produce an extensive range of alloy compositions in powdered form.
