Our master alloys for the production of rotating parts are certified to meet or exceed the rigid specifications of all principal main engine manufacturers.

One of Reading Alloys’ areas of expertise is in the development of master alloys for the titanium industry.  A major component of aerospace alloys, titanium is a non-ferrous metal used to give aerospace alloys the strength and ability to perform at extreme temperatures. The ratios of engine power to weight, airframe strength and other factors critical to jet performance could not be achieved without this specialty metal.  

Master alloys and powder coatings made with Reading Alloys’ high-performance materials are key elements for future generation products in the aerospace markets, where superior precision and quality are essential. Common titanium additions that Reading Alloys uses to make aerospace master alloys are: Aluminum, Vanadium, Molybdenum, Titanium, Niobium and Chromium. These alloys are designed to be strong and resistant to corrosion, and to maintain their integrity in any temperature.
